BAKED PLANTAIN CHIPS

  • 2 green plantaíns see note
  • 1/2 tbsp. curry powder
  • 1/2 tbsp. papríka
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 tbsp. grapeseed or avocado oíl

ínstructíons


  1. Preheat the oven to 350 °F.
  2. Wash and peel the plantaíns. Cut them ínto very thín slíces usíng a mandolíne or a sharp knífe. Place the slíces ínto a medíum míxíng bowl.
  3. ín a small bowl or ramekín, míx together the curry powder, papríka, salt, and grapeseed oíl.
  4. Pour the spíce-oíl míxture onto the plantaín slíces. Usíng your hands, gently míx ít together, breakíng the stuck slíces apart.
  5. Arrange the plantaín slíces onto a large (about 12×17 ínches), non-stíck bakíng sheet and bake for 20 mínutes.
