Snickerdoodle Scones Recipe Card
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter , chilled (see note)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg beaten
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1/2 cup cinnamon chips (I used Hershey'OR 2 to 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon
!for the topping:
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
- Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Make the topping mixture by mixing cinnamon with sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
