healthy and tasty soup cleanse

Needed Ingredients:

  • 1/2 c red lentils, rinsed
  • 2 chopped sweet potatoes
  • 1 chopped apple
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 2 chopped carrots
  • 1-inch ginger root, minced
  • Half a teaspoon of ground cumin
  • Half a teaspoon of chili powder
  • Half a teaspoon of paprika
  • ¼ c coconut oil, olive oil, or ghee
  • 4 1/2 c bone or vegetable broth
  • A pinch of sea salt and black pepper
  • Coconut cream (if you prefer)

Method of preparation:

  1.  Take a pot and then place it on a medium heat. Pour the olive oil in it and once it is warmed up include the carrots, onion, apple, and potatoes. 
  2. Cook this mixture for about 10 minutes. Then, include the broth, lentils, paprika, ginger, cumin, and chili powder.
  3.  Boil the soup, and let it simmer for 30 minutes. Once it gets thick, add some coconut cream
