CHAMPURRADO RECIPE (HOT MEXICAN BEVERAGE)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup Maseca for tortillas
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 abuelita chocolate disk
  • 1 tbsp mexican vanilla
CHAMPURRADO RECIPE (HOT MEXICAN BEVERAGE)


Instructions

  1. Add the maseca to a pot and slowly stir in the water until there are no lumps.
  2. Turn heat to medium high and stir in the milk.
  3. Add the cinnamon, sugar and chocolate to the pot and stir until chocolate is dissolved.
