- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cold and cut into half inch cubes)
- 2-4 tablespoons cold water
For the filling:
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 8 ounces bittersweet chocolate-chopped
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 3 egg yolks
Instructions
- To make the crust: In a large bowl whisk together flour, sugar and salt. Add butter and mix with a fork until it starts to look like a coarse meal.
