Snickerdoodle Scones Recipe Card

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter , chilled (see note)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup cinnamon chips (I used Hershey'OR 2 to 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

!for the topping:

  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper. Set aside.
  3. Make the topping mixture by mixing cinnamon with sugar in a small bowl. Set aside.
